About My 77 Days
77 days. Your goals. Your journey.
My 77 Days was created around a simple belief: meaningful change comes from consistency, not perfection.
We've all started something with excitement, only to lose momentum when life gets busy. But missing one day shouldn't erase everything you've already accomplished.
That's why My 77 Days is built around 77 days of showing up for yourself. Making an effort, building habits, and discovering what happens when you keep going.
Why 77 days?
Because 30 days can feel like just the beginning.
77 days gives you time to build a routine, face a few setbacks, and discover what consistency can do.
There's no magic number that guarantees transformation. The idea is to give yourself enough time to make meaningful progress without expecting perfection.
Not just 77 days. A lifetime of possibilities.
My 77 Days isn't something you complete once and leave behind.
Finish one challenge, celebrate your progress, and begin another whenever you're ready.
Your goals will change as your life changes. You might spend 77 days moving more, learning something new, building a healthier routine, or working toward a dream you've been putting off.
Every 77 days is another opportunity to grow.
Why we're starting with dance
I've been dancing in my room since my college years. Whenever I needed a little pick-me-up, I'd turn on some music and move. It was an instant mood booster.
But at 44, I took dancing to another level.
For nearly five years, I danced almost every day. And something wonderful happened.
Dancing didn't just make me feel better. It created a natural domino effect in my life. I found myself wanting to eat healthier, drink more water, do strength training, and stretch regularly. I wasn't forcing myself to adopt all these habits. They started falling into place naturally.
I had more energy, moved better, and genuinely felt younger. I used to joke that dancing was my little reverse-aging secret.
Then life got busy.
Over the past few months, I've spent countless hours sitting in front of a computer, working on my projects. Dancing gradually took a back seat.
And I experienced the domino effect in reverse. As I moved less, I started losing the momentum that had made those other healthy habits feel so natural. I felt stiffer, less energetic, and older than I had felt in years.
That's when I realized just how much dancing had been doing for me, beyond the dance itself.
And that's why we're starting My 77 Days with the Dance Challenge.
Dancing is for everyone. You can dance in your living room, your kitchen, or wherever you feel comfortable. Put on your favorite song, move however you like, and enjoy a few minutes that belong entirely to you.
Just one song a day. That's where it begins.
Sometimes one small daily action creates a ripple effect that changes so much more than we expected.
And when those 77 days are over? You can keep dancing, begin a different challenge, or start another 77 days.
Because taking care of yourself isn't a one-time project. It's something you must maintain throughout your life.

A note from the founder
Hi, I'm Uyanga (Melodee Cool), the founder of My 77 Days.
I've been using 77-day challenges to work toward my goals since my early 20s.
In my early 20s, I lost 50 pounds. In my early 30s, I started my own business. And in my mid-40s, I started dancing.
Different decades. Different goals. The same commitment to keep showing up.
Not every day was perfect. Some days I missed. Some goals took longer than expected. But I learned that missing a day doesn't mean giving up on the bigger picture.
My 77 Days is my way of sharing a practice that's been part of my life for decades, in the hope that it inspires others to discover what they can accomplish through consistency.
Progress over perfection. Always.
